Join us as we take a step to Engineer Our World with our Leaders of Tomorrow! Help your child keep the conversation going in Spanish this summer while having fun! Your child will enjoy yoga, dancing, preparing and cooking healthy snacks, science projects and other fun hands-on activities all while learning Spanish and enhancing their language art skills. Our goal is to empower children through play, helping them to thrive and skip the summer slide!

New for 2019-  Our new camp hours are Monday through Friday 9:00-1:30.  Senora Zelkowicz, a native Venezuelan and Dual Language at Poplin Elementary will be joining us for the 2nd year joining her this year we have Dayaine Carmarillo from Columbia  who teaches at Unionville Elementary school and Carolina Castro from Barranquila, Columbia a dual language teacher who taught at Antioch Elementary this past year and will be opening the Dual language program at Porter Ridge in the fall.

I Can Care for the World: The kids will learn about Mexico and create EcoSytem bottles, and other STEAM projects.

July 22- July 26

Is Our Weather Changing?:The kids will learn about France and all they are doing to reduce their carbon footprint- they will do experiments where they can see the effects of Global Warming, we will make a solar ovens and other fun projects.

Our kids will learn about Venezuela, we will encourage the kids to create a product, present and sell it to each other, we are exploring charitable partners to work with to send blessing bags to Venezuela.

I Can Imagine and Create- Our kids will learn about Japan and the kids will work on a Lego BOOST project, create electricity using potatoes and make cars out of recycled materials and balloons plus other STEAM projects.

Empower, Play and Thrive

Kids will learn motor, force and motion concepts they will need to know in 1-5th grade through hands-on science experiments.

Through dramatic play, poetry, literature and interactive learning they will enhance their comprehension, sounds, phonetics, reading and writing strategies in  Spanish.

Through cooking, they will learn about healthy choices, how to follow instructions, measure and read in Spanish while learning independence and kitchen safety.

We will read and practice the 7 Habits of Happy Kids  by Sean Covey which will help develop life skills and prepare them for school.

They will keep the conversation going and enhance their language skills and encourage their interpersonal skills and socialization in Spanish.

We will do our best to strengthen their skills in  any areas that you help identify a need.
